Giving and Involvement 

Through your gifts of time, talent, and resources, you show your meaningful support of this school and the work we do. Volunteer opportunities are many, and are listed on the Friends of Montessori website.  We encourage you to get involved in your child’s school.

In most communities a Montessori education is very costly.  While it is widely recognized as highly valuable many families cannot afford to provide this for their children.  In DeLand, Faith Evangelical Lutheran Church offers a Montessori program that is high in quality at an affordable cost.  This school is seen as an outreach to the community providing an alternative educational opportunity for children.  Our operating budget is limited and we rely upon financial donations to enrich our programs.  Parents participate in our Annual Giving Campaign and gifts from donors are always deeply appreciated.
