Children’s House Montessori School has been offering a well-established, progressive, and individualized learning experience for over 50 years. We currently serve children from 18 months through Seventh Grade. Our mission is to help each student develop independence, cultivate a lifelong passion for learning, and realize their full potential through Montessori principles. Due to adding new classrooms, we are currently hiring for the following positions that will be starting in August 2026.

Assistant Teachers - 4 Needed. 1 in Toddler (18 - 36 Months), 2 in Lower (First, Second and Third Grades), 1 in Middle School (Seventh and Eighth Grades)

Assistant Teachers support the Head Teacher in whatever capacity is needed to ensure a smooth and productive classroom environment. They are responsible for much of the classroom management while the Head Teacher is presenting lessons—helping children stay focused and on task, maintaining order, supporting the overall flow of the day, and light cleaning throughout the day, such as wiping tables and sweeping as needed. Responsibilities in Lower Elementary and Middle School also include, correcting student work.

Our school year runs from early August through the end of May or beginning of June. All staff members are salaried employees, with compensation distributed over 12 months. This structure allows employees to continue receiving pay during the summer months when school is not in session.

Employees with a child enrolled at the school receive a 50% tuition reduction.
